This position will be responsible for managing sales activities and sales teams in multiple business channels for the Division (ODL Canada, Robover, VerreSelect).
This position will work closely with the Executive Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing, and Product Management to assure alignment strategies and initiatives across Canada.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and managing multiple sales teams to achieve long term strategic plans. Key requirement of this position is to build a customer base by adding new accounts by leveraging ODL’s value proposition (Service, Selection, Innovation and Quality). Also responsible for growing sales with existing customers in the channel through superior service, sales support and consultative solutions that drive value for the customer.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Direct the division’s sales efforts by directing and coordinating the division’s sales activities to ensure attainment of sales and margin goals; ongoing management and development of the division’s sales force; and providing leadership to sales force with training via webinars, sales meetings and on-site training.
  • Establish annual sales plans and forecasts for each channel of responsibility. These plans will align with the corporate five-year strategic plan.
  • Develop quality programs and tools to help achieve our sales objectives. Scope includes training (sales training for our Reps and product training for the Customer), rebate programs, coop advertising allowances, and product launch support.
  • Develop organizational sales talent by increasing skills and product knowledge across the sales network to provide a customer experience that leads the industry. Teach and coach our salespeople to perform to our standards and expectations. Hold individuals and agencies to meet annual performance objectives.
  • Provide channel team (Channel Marketing Manager, Sales Reps, and Customer Service Reps) with clear direction, support, and feedback to ensure employees are contributing their maximum potential.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills that can be transferred to our organization through training and coaching. Motivational fit for our driven organization.
