As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKETING.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have experience selling to Automotive OEM indirect purchasing groups
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the math behind costing and pricing
  • Experience with specific sales funnel management and structuring sales quota
  • Ten plus years of experience in THIRD PARTY LOGISTICS automotive sales
  • Working knowledge or experience in comprehensive supply chain solutions including warehouse management systems, labor solutions, and overall design
  • Extensive travel required
  • Skill in the operation of variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales CRM
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee National company pipeline of potential distribution center management customers
  • Will focus on automotive target market (Ford, GM, Chrysler etc.)
  • Develop and implement sales strategy specific to automotive customers
  • Develop and implement sales strategy for targeted growth in select non-automotive OEM markets specifically for the vertical industrial segment.
  • Reports to the COO
  • With a thorough understanding of the customer’s business model, collaborate with the product team to identify and propose distribution center management / logistics solutions to customers utilizing the organizations products and services that translate into closed, contracted business deals
  • Responsible to extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new geographic locations, new industries, or with additional products and services
  • Develop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Support pricing and business models
