StriveX is partnering with a state-owned financial institution who specialised in international trade and economic cooperation by providing comprehensive financial solutions. They are looking for a mid-senior level hire to join their Origination team, which focused on Structured Finance & Project Finance deals.

Job Description

• Support origination of debt finance transactions through pitches, financing proposals, and proactive engagement with clients
• Prepare internal credit applications and lead in due diligence and negotiation of commercial and financing agreements
• Build, review, and run sensitivities on financial models
• Oversee all aspects of the execution and administration of transactions from origination to drawdown
• Assess requests for consents, waivers, and amendments as part of portfolio management
• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with risk strategies, operating policies, and practices to ensure effective risk management
• Identify and monitor market developments and opportunities
• Help develop new client base and products in line with the business strategic priorities and sustainability goals

Job Requirements

• Degree holder
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, accounting, investment, or project development
• Good understanding of credit analysis processes
• Financial modelling skills
• Ability to think creatively and critically with a combination of strong quantitative analysis and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly motivated, fast learner, and desire to work in a structured finance team
• Familiarity and experience with ECA-backed financing, Project financing and other agency financing would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
