Description:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in science or business required; 15+ years of proven experience in healthcare, a CRO and/or established professional services industry (i.e. management consulting).
- Deep understanding, knowledge, and networking of the CRO industry. Proven sales history with breadth of domestic geographic responsibility and account management.
- Venture capital, private equity and/or banker networking a plus.
- In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities:
SUMMARIZED PURPOSE
Provides industry leading and innovative ways for our partnership processes and governance with Biopharma clients. As a key member of the CDSD Commercial Leadership Team, ensures we successfully secure PPD strategic partnerships through high quality delivery of strategy from pre-RFP through award. Ensures opportunities for revenue generation are identified and developed to increase market penetration for the structured partnerships. Champions a high-performance team by mentoring, coaching and development to achieve objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports business development with multiple deliverables and prioritization of complex process.
- Ensures highest quality, industry leading and innovative ways for our partnership strategy, processes and implementation with clients.
- Provides significant support to top strategic partnerships with C-suite level relationship management and alliances across BU’s within PPD.
- Helps broker commercial terms, pricing strategy, MSAs and partnership agreements for large business development opportunities.
- Develops, implements, and coordinates best-in-class processes for transition of leadership of key activities from commercial to operational team at the time of project award; ensures customer satisfaction during critical first 90 days post award. Evolve partnership implementation activities.
- Is a champion of change in a highly matrixed organization, including beyond just PPD, but throughout the Thermo Fisher Enterprise.
- Leads strategic projects on an as needed basis.
