Description:

ING Wholesale Banking Germany is the corporate banking segment of ING Germany. Beyond traditional funding, we advise our corporate customers on sustainable and innovative financing projects – with a start-up spirit and the ambition to always be one step ahead. Apply now with your CV to join ING Wholesale Banking, one of the fastest growing corporate banks in Germany!

Responsibilities:

  • You are the driving force behind our project finance for the Energy sector, know the energy industry like the back of your hand, have in-depth knowledge of financial markets / structured credit products and always strike the right note.
  • Portfolio management, risk analysis and in-life management – you bring crucial experience in each of them, quickly recognize market trends, and proactively manage their impact on the portfolio.
  • Open dialogue and effective exchange – both externally and internally – are your keys to success: you are in constant contact with customers as well as with account managers / sector colleagues and internal departments such as the back office and credit department. In this, you ensure that the risk profile and profitability are maintained during the term of the contract.
  • In your daily business, you prepare portfolio reports and risk analyses, conduct financial analyses & modelling, initiate capital velocity measures for risk-adequate and income-optimized portfolio management, and implement our sustainability goals as a matter of course.
  • In the event of an impending loan default, you take immediate action, bring the internal restructuring department on board, and, if necessary, involve external advisors.
  • As you always see the bigger picture in every detail, your professional input is highly valued across the bank in areas such as syndication, balance sheet management, risk management, legal, and capital markets & advisory.
  • And you can also be relied on when it comes to interpersonal relationships: setting an example that everyone benefits from knowledge sharing, you coach junior colleagues and thus contribute to the positive development of the entire team.
