Description:
Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. The Vice President, Procurement will execute and provide strategic advice on the enterprise-wide provision of procurement services from and within IO. Lead and oversee, from a procurement perspective, commercial structuring and execution activities for Information Technology, Human Resources, and other corporate services procurements as well as Information Technology-related components of procurements conducted by IO for Ministries, provincial agencies, and other co-sponsors.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Procurement, the VP Procurement will be responsible for the communications team’s many responsibilities, including:
Responsibilities:
- Execute and provide strategic advice on the enterprise-wide provision of procurement services from and within IO.
- Lead and oversee, from a procurement perspective, commercial structuring activities for information technology, human resources, corporate, and information technology-related scope in capital, real estate, development and alternative delivery service mandates.
- Lead and oversee the mitigation and management of enterprise risks associated with delivering the information technology pipeline and associated reduction in enterprise risk associated with modernizing IO’s systems, data strategy, and operational functionality through improved solutions and solution integration.
- Be a key executive-level contributor to the development of staff at IO, rooted in IO’s value proposition, leadership development framework, and employee value proposition.
