VICE PRESIDENT PRODUCT

Respiree Pte Ltd is a medical device manufacturer, leading in the development and manufacturing of premium medical devices as well as deployment of SaaS based AI products. They are currently expanding their product portfolio capabilities and are currently recruiting for an experience Vice President for Product to join their growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for the overall product development, quality and timeliness of all product lines including software and hardware medical devices
• Responsible for the overall product pipeline strategy to ensure the competitiveness of product across regions including Singapore, Australia and USA etc.
• Ensure all product lines meet the relevant quality compliances including ISO 13485 and software compliances
• Having a strong understanding of competitors in the healthcare industry with respect to remote-patient monitoring solutions, AI/ML capabilities using healthcare data and building a competitive edge
• Hiring new team members as the business expands and reporting directly to CEO
• Working directly with the senior management team including business units to (1) ensure the product competitiveness meets the required market needs, (2) ensure product is able to deliver on-time with respect the regulatory timelines, (3) ensure smooth handovers to operational units

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences and related disciplines. An MBA and PhD degree is a bonus, but a basic background in either engineering or life science is a must.
• Over 5 years product development experience, within the healthcare medical device industry and understands QMS ISO 13485 design and development processes, is a must.
• Has some level of experience leading a team of software development engineers for development of cloud-based healthcare systems
• Able to lead a large team, make decisive decisions and is able to react within an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated to deliver high-quality and professional ethics
• Able to develop strategic planning within a larger senior management team
• Basic background in engineering with some experience in coding with some experience leading R&D (this is not a must, but a bonus to have)
• Must be able to relocate to Singapore but yet able to work with international business units remotely and conduct on-site travels
