Job Description
As a member of the Product Strategy & Development Team for Brookfield’s Global Client Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to product innovation and strategic growth.
This includes the evaluation of new business concepts and product ideas, research and market intelligence related to the broader industry and competitor landscape, analysis, scenario modeling, and developing data-driven recommendations, all with the purpose of spearheading increased growth and helping to identify the next big opportunity for the Firm.

You will be responsible for:

  • Generating ideas for new products and product positioning
  • Evaluating new business and product ideas and develop data-driven recommendations to drive growth
  • Working closely with the investment, fundraising, marketing, legal, tax and fund operations teams on a variety of product-focused initiatives, while also liaising directly with senior stakeholders
  • Researching and monitoring key industry and competitor trends in areas of focus for the Firm to help drive product development decisions
  • Performing financial analyses to inform business decisions and growth opportunities
  • Driving strategic partnership proposals with investors that leverage the full range of the Firm’s capabilities

Candidate Profile

  • [8]+ years of financial services‐related experience with a focus on private markets and the alternative asset management industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and work with professionals at all levels and departments within the organization
  • Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background; additional credentials including CFA, CAIA, MBA or CPA a bonus
  • Strong research, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills; strong command of PowerPoint
  • Experience in private funds and knowledge of the investment management industry
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work with tight deadlines, and ad-hoc requests as required
  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
  • Team player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to work
