Description:
Change Management department is responsible to design and implement a solid change management framework, toolset and governance across all business activities within the Bank. As a Vice President - Programme Manager, you will drive a number of automation projects across the Bank’s operations. You will be working with teams across the Business, Operations and IT in the UK and Head Office, and you will be responsible for mapping current state, agreeing target state and managing the projects to deliver the agreed changes in a controlled and efficient manner. This is a full time 12 months fixed term position.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree educated in Banking, Finance or other equivalent
- Extensive experience working on large-scale and complex business and IT change programmes in Financial Services
- Hands-on experience of regulatory change projects in Global Banking
- Proven track record delivering complex changes across multiple departments, including front office, operations and IT
- Experience working with second line of defence (2LoD) and third line of defence (3LoD) teams and processes
- Solid knowledge of working across Global systems and processes
- Demonstrable experience with Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Solid experience across all steps in the Project Management Lifecycle
- Solid understanding of Personal, Corporate and Investment Banking services and products
- Familiarity with key UK banking rules and regulations
- Extensive knowledge and experience with data and system architecture, business and operations processes
- Used to working in a team with a wide variety of skills and abilities, adapting for different levels of experience and seniority
- Highly organised and used to re-prioritising work as the day / week changes
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Set up each project to map current state, design future state, create business requirements, agree how and when the target state will be delivered
- Manage the implementation of all changes, acting as the problem solver as issues arise on delivery of each project
- Work with key teams to plan and deliver testing
- Provide tailored project and programme status reporting and advice to key project stakeholders to keep them up to date with progress, risks / issues and plans
- Create and deliver communications and training to impacted staff
- Advise on industry best practice and change / project management standards to ensure each project is delivered effectively and efficiently
