Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of direct healthcare management and quality improvement experience
  • Required Education: Master’s Degree required in Health care administration or related field
  • Other: Demonstrated experience in clinical quality, safety, regulatory, performance improvement. Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean, A3, PDCA). Detailed knowledge in areas of quality and patient safety, measurement and data analysis, quality and patient safety related public reporting requirements, process improvement, healthcare processes, facilitation, coaching and team building. Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations and accreditation standards, including CMS, Joint Commission, other. Ability to prioritize quality improvement strategies and choose how best to narrow quality gaps for clinical programs and outcomes and proven ability to achieve results. Systematic thinking with demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives.

  • Skillfully leads change, both operational and cultural, in complex political environments
  • Distinctive problem-solver who can disaggregate complex problems, determine root causes to the problems manifestations, define and execute targeted analyses to prove or disprove hypotheses, and then synthesize a compelling story for change
  • Collaborator with high emotional intelligence, who works with multiple partners, bringing consensus and unified action to bear in the market for Mercys patients
