WHY THIS ROLE IS EXTRAORDINARY
At Egis, we’re shaping the future of transportation by redefining how people and goods move across cities, provinces, and regions. As the Vice President, Rail & Transit, you’ll lead our mission to revolutionize Canada’s rail and transit systems, delivering transformative projects that enhance connectivity and improve quality of life for communities nationwide.
This role is more than leadership—it requires an expert with deep technical expertise in the design and delivery of rail and transit projects. You’ll bring hands-on experience and strategic insight to guide project execution, from concept to completion, ensuring Egis continues to set benchmarks for innovation and quality in urban transportation.
You’ll drive innovation, inspire a dynamic team, and position Egis as a leader in rail and transit solutions. From advanced light rail transit systems to modern commuter rail, metro networks, and transformative bus rapid transit corridors, you’ll shape the future of sustainable mobility, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry.
You will oversee and motivate teams working on some of Canada’s most iconic transit projects, such as the Blue Line LRT in Montreal, the Capital Line South LRT Extension in Edmonton, and the GO Expansion – On-Corridor Works in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Additionally, you’ll be involved in the Ontario Line in Toronto and the Gatineau-Ottawa Tramway. Your technical expertise and leadership will help push the boundaries of innovation and creativity while addressing the challenges of urban growth and connectivity.
