Description:
ADP IS HIRING A VICE PRESIDENT - RISK & COMPLIANCE.
As the Vice President/GM , you will be a applying strengths in compliance leadership, and the ability to seamlessly navigate the intricacies of industry-specific regulations, the VP Risk & Compliance will play a key role in ensuring ADP Canada is well positioned for growth through the design, implementation and operation of a regulatory compliance framework that safeguards the organization and supports the attainment of strategic goals.
In this role, you will lead ADP Canada’s Compliance Programs, including (but not limited to) Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF), and other relevant regulations, while ensuring the company meets its sales and revenue growth targets, overseeing risk management, policies, procedures, regulatory reporting, examinations, investigations and, provide leadership to the national compliance team. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of compliance and require a deep understanding of strategies, regulations, and industry best practices.
The Vice President will work collaboratively with all lines of business and other corporate oversight groups to ensure a consistent and integrated approach is applied to compliance governance that aligns to the overall compliance management mandate and framework.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY: Responsibilities
- Lead ADP Canada’s Compliance Program, including responsibility and accountability for program content, design and enterprise-wide implementation and monitoring to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory, requirements. Program will include but not limited to:
- Retail Payments Activities Act (RPAA)
- Quebec French language law requirements (including Bill 96)
- FINTRAC and Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) & Terrorist Financing Act
- Know Your Customer (“KYC”) Regulations
- Maintain oversight control activities to establish a reasonable threshold of control consistencies on an enterprise-wide basis.
- Formulate an Annual Compliance Plan Risk Assessment driven by value and risk, conducting compliance audits and analyses, identifying and addressing any compliance risks or control concerns across all functions.
- Ensure stakeholders are provided with current and accurate information to identify, assess, communicate, manage and mitigate regulatory compliance risk, and maintain knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements in operations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports to relevant authorities as necessary.
- Be aware of and communicate any emerging issues in the compliance space including with respect to any upcoming legislation, regulations, or guidance that may be applicable to ADP Canada.
- Develop or amend ADP Canada’s compliance policies, as new business activities impose different legislative requirements, and as efficiencies are actively discovered.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address and integrate significant legislative or regulatory requirements into business activities through appropriate procedural controls.Serve as a member of the ADP Canada Leadership Team and partners with other ADP leadership teams as needed
- sharing best practices and providing support. Assumes other special projects/assignments as directed.
- Build and lead a diverse team of associates all collaborating and working together, setting and managing objectives to execute on strategies to deliver business results.
- Develops leaders within the organization by providing developmental assignments, coaching, timely feedback, and guidance. Rewards results and behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of ADP. Develops success and drives ADP Employee Value Proposition throughout the organization.
- Implement compliance strategies that ensure regulatory adherence while supporting sales and revenue growth targets.
- Balance operational and business-mindedness to run a compliant organization effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to integrate compliance requirements without hindering business performance.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- 10+ years of related leadership experience in an industry related compliance capacity.
