Description:

Our client, a manufacturer of agricultural equipment, is seeking a Vice President, Sales & Operations who will oversee and lead the coordination, functional management, and strategic direction of the Service Parts, Sales, Service/Warranty, and Warehouses across North America. The primary focus will be to ensure customer satisfaction and drive new business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop strategic plans to meet the production goals, sales budget, and P&L objectives.
  • Implement and enhance production processes, product pricing, inventory planning, and sales and service strategies.
  • Set, execute, and evaluate annual targets to achieve sales goals.
  • Plan and develop sales, service, and inventory strategies.
  • Analyze the current dealer network and develop action plans to expand business opportunities.
  • Implement development programs related to production.
  • Manage production development and sales processes.
  • Control and manage promotional and incentive programs for dealers and end users.
  • Lead and oversee team management for operations and sales in Canadian and U.S. divisions.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork
  • Develop, and supervise cross-functional team managers.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in agriculture in both operations and sales roles.
  • At least five years in a senior management position.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and sound judgment.
  • Ability to plan, target, and execute initiatives effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Highly effective facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Solid business acumen, senior management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and time management abilities.
  • Capable of working in a self-directed, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
