The Vice President of School and Community Programs (VP, SCP) will maintain and lead direct services and training initiatives with their partner public and charter schools in New York, California, and select states, setting program goals, hiring, and onboarding field-based clinical teams, marketing the program to schools, community groups, donors, state, and local agencies, and other partners. The VP, SCP will oversee all program-related special and cultivation events, and the management of clinical and administrative staff.
Reporting to the President, this position is full-time, exempt, and in-person at least four (4) days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant doctoral or masters degree in mental health or education-related field required.
  • 10+ years experience in clinical or educational program development, evaluation and program design required.
  • Expertise in youth education or mental health and passion for their mission.
  • 5+ years experience working in school and community settings.
  • 5+ years experience in managing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Fiscal Year strategic plan for school and community programs. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and effectively communicate the plan to all relevant stakeholders. Serve as an ambassador for the program and organization at conferences, meetings, and other public engagements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of care by ensuring all evidence-based treatments and educational services meet predefined quality metrics. Establish clear, measurable goals and objectives for program delivery and implement regular evaluations to ensure standards are met. Uphold and promote a culture of ethical practice within the program. Ensure all activities and decisions reflect the values and mission, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Oversee the creation of robust systems for the collection, analysis, and reporting of program effectiveness data. Utilize this data to inform program improvements, demonstrate impact to stakeholders, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Provide strong leadership and oversight to the program/department. Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer continuous coaching and development opportunities, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Ensure all supervisory practices adhere to the policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with funders by participating in meetings and preparing reports on program plans and accomplishments. Ensure transparency and accountability in all communications with funders.
  • Collaborate with other executive team leaders to identify and secure strategic and philanthropic partnerships. Provide accurate and compelling program information for proposals and review draft applications to ensure alignment with department and organizational goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to school and community-based treatments. Maintain accurate and timely reporting as required by law and their policy.
