Description:

Transaction Banking department is responsible for the product ownership of Corporate and Financial institution client’s Trade Finance, Commodity Finance, Cash Management, E-banking product as well as Corporate client’s Account, Payment, Deposit, overdraft services. As a Vice President - Structured Commodity Finance, you will develop the Commodity Business Centre by maintaining existing and developing new clients to increase profit through the promotion of the structural commodity finance products. You will identify and monitor the risks inherent in the commodity business and ensure that delivery of the Bank’s products is effectively and efficiently handled. This is a full time permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree educated in Economics, Banking, Finance or other equivalent
  • Banking qualification
  • Solid experience in the Oil & Gas sector within a major international Banking group
  • Deep understanding in all Commodity related Trade Finance products
  • Full understanding of UK Financial Services Regulatory framework, i.e. PRA Rulebook/FCA Handbook including relevant Sourcebooks
  • Deep understanding in financial analysis of Commodity clients
  • Excellent marketing and sales skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Market the Bank’s products and services related to the Structural Commodity business to the Bank’s clients
  • Prepare the necessary write ups for business proposals in conjunction with the relationship managers
  • Provide excellent customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare reviews of credit proposals
  • Liaise with relevant departments such as Risk Management, Legal & Company Secretariat and Financial Crime & Compliance departments
  • Prepare research papers on the commodity business when requested.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports that may be required for the Anti Money laundering and Internal Audit and Compliance
  • Identify cross sell opportunities where ever relevant
  • Represent and attend events organized by the bank and on behalf of the bank.
  • Structure and prepare proposals and pitches in response to client requests or RFP
  • Prepare Marketing and Call reports for client visits country visits or conference attendance
  • Support Junior staff to ensure their development
