Overview
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Vice President, Technology Product Owner I in New York, NY, to analyze, define, and prioritize BNYM’s business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture for up to and including highly complex strategic, global programs. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Web and Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Conducting benchmark analyses to align with top-tier design systems and creating new components, styles, and patterns using Sketch/InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, MS Excel, and JIRA; Planning, facilitating, and analyzing stakeholder interviews and usability tests with Userlytics, Maze, and MS Teams; Performing audits and creating remediation plans for accessibility-related issues using the Color Contrast Analyzer (CCA) and MS Excel; Leading client-facing financial web app design with a focus on creating a client-centric user experience using Sketch/InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, MS Excel, and JIRA; and Executing responsive design and utilizing design style guides to optimize production efficiency and consistency across various applications using Sketch/InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, MS Excel, and JIRA. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $147,285.00 to $147,285.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors
