Description:
Job Purpose: We currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Vice President of Group Recruitment - Group Services & Commercia l, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources - Group Recruitment.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent across all business units of the Emirates Group, including Cabin Crew, Pilots, IT, Engineering, Corporate Roles, & Senior Executives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Group has a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future manpower demands, thereby supporting the company’s growth and strategic objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse and highly skilled candidates for various roles within the Emirates Group, leveraging creative sourcing techniques, advanced technologies, and inclusive practices to ensure a strong and dynamic workforce aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Align recruitment strategies with the Group’s overall business objectives and workforce planning needs by ensuring that hiring practices support long-term goals, meet current and future talent demands, and enhance organizational growth.
- Ensure a steady and robust talent pipeline by implementing proactive talent sourcing and talent pooling strategies consistently identifying and engaging high-potential candidates to meet current and future organizational needs.
- Collaborate with HR Business Support, business leaders and finance to anticipate and meet future hiring needs.
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience. Implement best practices and continuous improvements in recruitment processes and technologies.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Talent Attraction and Employer Brand and promote the Emirates Group’s employer brand to attract top-tier talent. In addition, represent the Group at recruitment events, conferences, and other platforms to build a strong employer presence.
- Integrate strategic manpower planning into recruitment processes to attract and retain the right talent, enabling the Group to achieve its mission and maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large recruitment team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST MEET THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
- 12 years experience in Human Resources within Recruitment & Selection.
- Experience in recruitment with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies for large, diverse organisations.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including employer branding, candidate sourcing, and talent pipeline management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with HR technologies and recruitment software.
- Ability to use data analytics to drive recruitment decisions and improvements.
