Description:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Strong knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years) in managing VTC room systems including VTC codec (HP/Poly, Cisco), camera’s (HP/Poly, Panasonic), projectors (Epson), monitors (NEC), control processors (Crestron, Extron), microphone systems (Televic), video matrixes (Extron) and other peripherals;
- Strong knowledge of HP/Poly and PEXIP Videoconferencing Technologies such as Poly Clariti Core/Edge, Poly Clariti Manager, PEXIP back-end infrastructure, Diagnose and resolve technical issues, support software and basic associated network related problems;
- Good knowledge and experience (minimum 2 years) in:
- Managing VMWare vSphere and VMWare vCenter;
- Monitoring platforms such as nGeniusOne, CA Performance management, CA Spectrum;
- Troubleshooting basic network issues (including boundary protection devices) on servers and end users; Splunk log monitoring and analysis, nGeniusOne monitoring and analysis
Responsibilities:
- Providing prompt, professional, and effective resolution of technical issues (including incidents) escalated from Level 2 and, in some cases, Level 3 support and end users across all security domains within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of the Service;
- Liaising with other teams to troubleshoot technical issues at various levels (network, backend, frontend, firewalls);
- Performing root cause analysis to reduce recurring technical issues.
