The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong proficiency in video editing software. This role involves transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with Clayton Glass’s brand vision and objectives. If you have an eye for detail and a flair for creativity, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit Video Content: Edit high-quality videos for various platforms, ensuring outputs meet project specifications and align with brand objectives.
- Collaborate on Creative Projects: Work closely with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish.
- Utilize Industry Tools: Use Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, to enhance video quality and incorporate effects, graphics, and animations.
- Enhance Visuals: Conduct color correction, audio mixing, and final rendering to ensure polished content.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with video editing trends and best practices to ensure the content remains fresh and engaging.
- Manage Projects: Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining adherence to deadlines.
Essential Criteria:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum Level 3 qualification (A-Level, BTEC, or equivalent) in Media Production, Digital Media, Creative Arts, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience or a demonstrable portfolio may also be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Ability to use video editing software, for example Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, including storytelling and pacing.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator for graphic integration.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
Desirable (Non-Essential) Criteria:
- Background in photography or familiarity with visual composition.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques.
- Experience editing B2B marketing or manufacturing content is advantageous.

Additional Information:
- Location: Clayton Glass, Orchard Court, Huthwaite, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 2HU [& working from home]
- UK Driving Licence: Required for attending site visits, customer meetings, or industry events as needed.
- Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 37.5hrs/week, 2.5hrs unpaid break/week. Monday to Friday
- Salary: £25K - £28K, dependent on experience
