About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with Motion Graphics skills to join our internal brand team. You will be working across not only the GSMA brand, but our industry leading global event series, MWC and M360. Our ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and excels in creating visually stunning videos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives.
- Edit raw video footage to create polished, professional final products.
- Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Create engaging animations and graphics that align with the project’s vision.
- Ensure all video content meets technical specifications and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain an organized library of video assets and manage project files efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to continuously improve skills and techniques.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure their vision is accurately captured and conveyed.
About You
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Expertise in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for online video distribution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
- Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D) is a plus.
