Description:
Jyamma Games is an independent software house based in Milan, focused on video game development, and the studio behind “Enotria: The Last Song” is looking for a talented and creative Video Game Writer to join its team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the storytelling and immersive world of our games. You will work closely with the internal teams to craft compelling narratives, create engaging dialogue, and ensure that every aspect of the story aligns with the game’s vision and tone.

As a part of the application process, we kindly ask you to provide 1 writing sample of no more than 10 pages total, including a short screenplay sample.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience as a Writer, preferably with a focus on RPG and story-driven games.
- AA or AAA experience required.
- Strong storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of interactive narrative design.
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to create compelling characters, immersive storylines, and engaging dialogue.
- Knowledge of game design principles and an understanding of how narrative elements integrate with gameplay mechanics.
- Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, feedback, and support to members of the writing team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for video games and a solid understanding of different game genres and player expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with the Director board and narrative teams.
- Development of narrative elements and features of our game, including writing engaging dialogues, compelling scenarios, and memorable characters.
- Creating documents about the game’s story in alignment with the project’s vision.
- Collaboration with other stakeholders to ensure that the story elements are consistent across narrative, gameplay mechanics, and visuals.
