Description:

Reuters is looking for a talented television news journalist to join the team in our regional TV hub in Gdansk, Poland, to gather news, produce video and output stories from the 16 countries that make up the lively Central and Eastern Europe region, spanning from the Baltics to the Balkans.
Helping to deliver breaking and planned news coverage to more than 1,000 broadcasters and hundreds of digital outlets around the world, you will have a strong ability to remain focused and organised under pressure and a passion for working with high-performance teams. You should be excited about international news and have an ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

As our Video Producer you will:

  • Work as part of our news gathering team coordinating and bringing in edited and live coverage from across the Central and Eastern Europe region to deliver to clients at speed.
  • Produce tight, well-written accurate news copy to deadline.
  • Pitch story ideas which travel well for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Have excellent news judgment, with a clear vision of what makes a compelling visual story
  • Work as part of a team covering events starting from the planning phase through to field work.
  • Uphold Reuters Trust Principles of independence, integrity and freedom from bias.
