• Manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina

• Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story
• Flexibility and good listening skills
• Energy and determination
• Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
• Must know digital editing software and equipment
• Understanding of post-production techniques
• Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit and finish film work
• Passion — you have to be all about getting the shot
• Graphic Design experience or capabilities would be advantageous to your application

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Videographer, you will showcase your ability to serve as a creative leader in charge of creating footage (videos) that helps showcase our products, services, and business culture.
You’ll spend the majority of your time editing content and using long videos to create shorts for YouTube and social media. You will create a variety of educational, funny, testimonials and live videos that help to share our story with the world. You will also film videos for YouTube and social media videos.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Film videos on set or on a location
• Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working
• Plan the shoot with the creative team
• Edit footage in post-production
• Bring the brief and concept to life based on the needs and vision
• Edit a variety of shorts from long-form videos that create hooks
• Look at ways the YouTube channel can grow and videos can go viral
• Research new ways we can grow YouTube
• Check progress of the videos and report these each month to the Marketing Manager
