Schneider Electric is looking for a Community Events Manager to successfully build, grow and animate an event plan for our community of problem solvers focusing on energy management and automation challenges — the Schneider Electric Community.
This high-energy individual contributor will execute and deliver the next generation of the Schneider Electric Community.
This position will be part of Schneider Electric Online Customer Community team and will be a significant contributor to customer success. We’re looking for a passionate individual that is open to trying new things, getting things done, and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Community Events Strategy 70%
You will lead the formulation and implementation of event strategy for all Community digital events. You will align event strategy with the organization’s business strategy and ensure each event realizes its full business potential as defined by defined plan:
- Determine event goals and objectives in consultation with management
- Formulate and implement strategies and tactics (event plans) that ensure goals and objectives are met
- Assess and evaluate existing event strategies and plans to identify opportunities for engagement
- Identify event growth opportunities (revenue, sponsorship, products, services, etc.)
- Manage relationships with key event stakeholders, strategic partners, and suppliers
- Research market and industry trends that will impact event performance
- Conduct participant needs analysis to ensure event relevance, value
- Interpret creation, conception, and presentation of event promotion working with Company Marketing organization
- Identify and evaluate event performance (individual and organizational participant performance; individual and team performance; ROI; supplier performance, etc.)
Community Internal Communication 30%
You will oversee all internal communications related to Community Events & Engagement, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging:
- Create informative and interesting strategies for Community new products, launches, events, and promotions
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build employees loyalty, Community-brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Work with Marketing & Lines of Businesses departments to generate new communication ideas and strategies.
- Supervise Communication projects to guarantee all content is publication ready.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
- Identify and evaluate performance (activity reports)
Qualifications:
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE?
- Master’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/ or related fields.
- Experience working in Communication & Community management - managing online communities and digital events
- Content Management Systems, Web Design, Webinars management
- English fluent
- Excellent creative verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize
- Knowledge of the Company’s industry as well as Internet culture
- Have a good knowledge of principles of customer service
- Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach
- Get excited about finding smarter ways to do things Ability to effectively communicate information and report statistics.
