WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Initial experience in management control, preferably in an industrial environment (including internships or apprenticeships)
• Master degree in finance or business/administration
• Knowledge of financial, operational, and budgetary procedures
• Fluent in French and have a professional level of English (Italian is a plus)
• Proficient in Excel and the Office suite in general
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• You have the ability to communicate with others and you demonstrate team spirit and open-mindedness

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• The VIE is a special contract subject to certain eligibility criteria:
• Be a citizen of the European Union
• Be aged no more than 28.
• Have fulfilled your country’s military obligations.

  The controlling department in Arlon is composed of 11 employees divided into 2 teams. As a Junior Industrial Controller, you will be part of the LIC (Local Industrial Controlling) team, which consists of 6 people and is responsible for analyzing OPEX and CAPEX costs. During your VIE, you will be responsible for assisting the team in their daily and occasional tasks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the team in various controls inherent to the monthly closing
• Help develop new controls to monitor financial performance using tools such as SAP, Essbase
• Assist the LIC team in the monthly analysis of variances between the Target and Actual
• Collaborate with the team to ensure monthly monitoring of risks and opportunities related to production line costs
• Participate in the annual budget and SAF (budget update)
• Support the teams in the calculation and analysis of standard product costs for famous brands such as Schokobons, Raffaello, and Kinder Surprise
