The Junior Plant Engineer will support the engineering team by ensuring the efficient and safe operation of plant facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Senior Plant Engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of plant facilities and systems.
  2. Support the Mechanical and Electrical Foremen in the delivery of the plant operation.
  3. Technical Assistance: Provide technical support and assistance in the planning and execution of various plant activities part of a major civil engineering projects.
  4. Support the warehouse management: purchasing of furniture’s and machines, inspection of warehouse.
  5. Maintain a complete equipment register database updated with servicing, repair, and usage records.
  6. Ensure plant, equipment and vehicles meet all regulatory and Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
    Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
    Previous professional experience in construction or industrial maintenance
    Good communication and teamwork skills
    Meticulous, Methodical, and organised
    Ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks
