Description:

The Village Assistant General Manager of Food & Beverage is instrumental in the daily management and development of all Village FOH F&B Team Members. The Village Assistant General Manager will work with the Village General Managerto continually move the Village business forward. The Village Assistant General Manager must be willing and able to provide exceptionalcustomer service in all situations, 100% of the time, to not only the Sugar Bowl Villagers and general public, but also to all Team members. They must also possess exceptional problem solving & troubleshooting skills, the ability to act accordingly in stressful situations, and the drive to promote and maintain a fun, positive workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and facilitating the opening and daily operations of all of the above F&B outlets.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring exceptional employees.
  • Managing, training and coaching Team Members on all aspects of operations.
  • Payroll & Timekeeping responsibilities for all Village F and B Team Members.
  • Assist in managing all financials to budget.
  • Possessing high integrity in reconciliation of closing paperwork.
  • Having extensive knowledge of all menu items, food and beverage.
  • Maintaining clean and organized top notch facilities.
  • Excellent safety, sanitation & cleanliness practices, completing Sanitation Walkthroughs monthly.
  • Maintaining consistent opening & closing duties per checklists.
  • Conducting weekly inventories and ordering/requisitioning for all bars.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship with HR and their policies & procedures
  • Maintaining consistent Service Standards and promoting them to the Team.
  • Assist with weekly safety meetings with all team members and documented properly.
  • Be the example for grooming and professionalism in appearance and actions.
  • Exercising excellent listening skills with Team and Guests.
  • Creating a positive, upbeat, creative and professional work environment.
  • Ownership of promoting and furthering environmental stewardship in all outlets.
  • Assist in snow removal if necessary
