QUALIFICATIONS
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years Customer Service experience Required
- 1 year Physician practice experience Preferred
- 1 year Patient Service Representative or Scheduler experience Required
Responsibilities:
- Technology Testing The Navigator will contact the patient two days prior to a virtual visit and explain technology and test the patient’s equipment to ensure it is compatible with the providers equipment.
- Troubleshoot Troubleshoot any technical issues and instruct the patients how to adapt their technology to the technology required for the appointment.
- MyChart Have expert level knowledge of MyChart and all functionality. Must be able to convey that knowledge in a manner that is understandable to the patient.
- MyChart - Enrollment Assure the patient is enrolled in MyChart. If they are not enrolled in MyChart, the Virtual Visit Navigator will walk them through a successful installation of MyChart.
- MyChart - Financial Assist in entering patient payment information into MyChart.
- EPIC The Virtual Visit Navigator has an advanced working knowledge of Front Office EPIC and can sign a patient into EPIC and can verify insurance coverage.
- Technology 15 minutes before the appointment, the Virtual Visit Navigator will call the patient and ensure that their technology is ready for their virtual visit and sign them in through EPIC for their appointment.
- Introduction Once technology is confirmed and the patient is signed in for their visit, the Virtual Visit Navigator introduces the patient to their caregiver, concluding their portion of the virtual visit.
- Flexibility Flexible, self-starter, energetic and willing to do the research to get the best answer
