Responsibilities
The Fain College of Fine Arts and The Juanita and Ralph Harvey School of Visual Arts seeks a Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Art- Graphic Design for the 2024- 2025 academic year. Midwestern State University is the only public liberal arts institution in Texas located two hours northwest of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. The university is a member of COPLAC and the Harvey School of Visual Arts is a member of NASAD, offering a comprehensive undergraduate art curriculum. This is a full time, benefits eligible, one year appointment for 2024-2025 . Salary is competitive. The successful candidate will teach a range of graphic design courses at the undergraduate level that include the Adobe Creative Suite and time-based media. Perform university, college and departmental service and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 18 hours toward an MFA in the field of Graphic Design or closely related discipline, a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. College-level teaching experience preferred.

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.
