Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Visual Art Teacher to join the Art department working across the whole school.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced candidates. As a qualified Art Teacher, familiar with curriculum developments of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) and confident working with K-12 students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. You will be committed to a modern, inquiry-based, student-centred approach to art education.
You will be an excellent communicator and able to understand and incorporate strategies for effective learning into everyday practice; someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom.
You will also be able to meet visa and work permit-related restrictions for Ireland.
