Job Description
JOB TITLE: Visual Designer
SALARY: £57,546 - £63,940
LOCATION: Chester
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Chester office.
About the opportunity
We’re looking for someone to help bring our digital experiences to life. You’ll do this by communicating visually and engaging with customers and stakeholder through storytelling.
Someone who can work collaboratively alongside a full design multidisciplinary team, with a willingness to learn from - and actively support other Visual Designers.
We’re looking for an experienced a Visual Designer to work within our Experience Design team of designers, researchers and strategists. You’ll help identify and solve real customer problems and ensure that we put humans needs at the heart of every problem we solve.
It’ll be your role to:
- Apply your creative thinking to solve complex problems and make them seem simple
- Design production assets, infographics, logos and other items using creative software
- Create engaging digital experiences
- Make seemingly mundane things interesting and exciting
- Support us to scale and hone our digital design system
- Mastering storytelling techniques to help the business communicate effectively
What you’ll need
- Demonstrable experience within Visual Design
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience in solving visual design challenges and deliver experience lead brand digital journeys
- Tons of energy and enthusiasm to bring visual design to where it’s needed
- Understand and contribute with existing digital Design System and be an advocate of accessibility standards.
