This is an exciting time to join Adult Social Care as we continue to strengthen our prevention offer for Adults in Rotherham.

Based at Riverside House you will manage caseload of clients with visual impairments. The focus will be working within a multi-agency framework, undertaking detailed screening to ensure each client receives the appropriate service individual to their needs. Ensuring ongoing risk assessment, safety planning and management of cases and if situations change, implementation of appropriate strategies including the referral on to agencies that will provide people with longer term support.
The role is based within the Prevention Team, where the post holder will adopt a strength-based approach, working with people to prevent, reduce and delay the need for care and support while maximising independence.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
