Visual Merchandiser

Canadian Tire Steinbach is looking for a highly organised and independent person to join their visual merchandising team. This is a full time, permanent position (40 hours/week).
The visual merchandiser will help with seasonal changeovers in all departments of the store, packing up out-of-season merchandise in a safe, organised and space-efficient manner. They will design the layout of the section of the new and in-season items in a way that is helpful and effective to the Canadian Tire customer.
In the off-season, they will reset/ redesign existing retail spaces in the store. They will also aid in the addition of new items to an already-merchandised section in a way that is appealing. They will occasionally build and style store displays. The role does not include stocking shelves.

Physical requirements

• Standing /walking for 8 hours
• Can lift product ranging in weight from “light” to “heavy” with limited assistance
• Ability to go up and down a ladder while carrying merchandise
• Willing to get dusty and dirty

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.80 per hour
