Description:
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
This role is responsible for enhancing the Consumer experience and journey within key adidas doors; Own Retail and Wholesale partners. Utilising Global VM standards cascaded down from VM Execution Manager, and VMD’s from VM Planning Manager. The individual needs to display their creative flair to land key messages according to the marketing calendars and ensure that their attention to detail is in-line with those expected by a Global Brand. Key relationships are required so this individual requires good interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager to implement the EM South visual merchandising standards and directives in all store concepts and formats within the specified region/area.
- Ensure all stores within specified region/area comply with EM South standards and directives and provide a leading shopping experience for all customers.
- Identify and communicate local store needs and best practices to the Visual Merchandising Manager, working in collaboration with retail store team, Operations Manager, DM’s and Sales team for the area/country.
- Conduct store visits in line with the store visit plan with additional visits for identified focus stores.
- Take Visual Merchandising decisions fact based using tools such as Space Management, Category report, Sales analysis to drive commercial focus. Analyse store Net Sales / KPIs development on a regular basis to support appropriate business decisions.
- Train Store/Floor Managers and specified store team members within specified region/area on the Europe Visual Merchandising standards, directives and guidelines
- Keep up-to-date on what competitors are doing and provide feedback to Visual Merchandising Manager on any current and upcoming fashion trends across the Market. Implement locally applicable tactical solutions to competitor actions as advised by the Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Drive macro (layout changes) and micro merchandising actions to enhance consumer flow and experience
- Work within set budget controls.
- Collation of seasonal/promotional Point of Sale collateral numbers and communication to Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Drive impactful key campaign launches: ensure all windows are displayed in line with specified marketing calendar/campaigns and comply with window directives. Ensure these are presented to a high standard, including window decals, graphics and mannequins.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Secondary education or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Visual Merchandising experience
