JOB SUMMARY
The Visual Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective visual merchandising strategies across all departments within our retail chain for EDG, with a primary focus on the fresh food sections. This role involves creating visually appealing and profitable product displays, maintaining the store’s overall aesthetic, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of creativity, excellent project management skills, and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, especially in fresh food.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive visual merchandising strategies that align with the EDG’s brand identity and sales objectives, with a special emphasis on fresh food sections (produce, bakery, deli, meat, seafood, etc.).
Develop and execute engaging and innovative product displays for all store areas, emphasizing the freshness, quality, and variety of fresh food products while maintaining appeal in other departments.
Ensure consistency in visual presentation across all stores, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive look.
Work closely with marketing, category, and store operations teams to plan and coordinate merchandising activities, promotions, and seasonal displays across all departments.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Use this data to inform visual merchandising decisions across all store areas.
Manage the visual merchandising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Train and support store staff in visual merchandising techniques and standards. Develop training materials and conduct workshops as needed.
Analyze the impact of visual merchandising efforts on sales and customer engagement across all departments.
Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Regularly visit stores to ensure visual merchandising standards are being met and provide on-site support and guidance.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source materials and props for displays and ensure timely delivery and installation
