Description:
INTRODUCTION:
NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) is seeking qualified Level 3 support technicians to provide efficient and effective service operation support including, but not limited to, Incident and Service Request management, systems updates, troubleshooting and monitoring, participation in planned service improvement initiatives for the Shared Workspace, V2 (Voice and Video) team.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 2 years’ experience with:
- Cisco Voice Technologies, Cisco OS (strong knowledge required);
- Problem solving, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, support software, and basic associated network-related problems;
- Managing call distribution lists, voice mailboxes, ISDN, TDM technologies;
- Troubleshooting on Legacy TDM PABX integration to Cisco Voice Technologies;
- Alcatel PABXs and their integration, connection, and troubleshooting;
- Troubleshooting connections and integration with NATO deployed/deployable voice and video conference systems to NATO static voice and video conference systems.
Responsibilities:
- Providing prompt, professional, and effective resolution of technical issues (including incidents) escalated from Level 2 and (in some cases) Level 3 support and end users on all security domains for all encompassed Area of Responsibility (AOR) of the Service;
- Implementing approved service requests and change requests (e.g. creation of new resources/configuration items, alteration of existing resources/configuration items);
- Implementing security measures (patches, updates, etc.) on the systems manually with no to minimal downtime.
