ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a remote volunteer role for a Game Designer at [P1] Games. The Game Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing gameplay mechanics and game features.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a volunteer Game Designer, you have the flexibility to choose your own hours and set your own deadlines. Since we are a volunteer organization, you may choose the responsibilities you feel confident in at any given time:

• Developing game concepts, rules, and mechanics to create engaging gameplay.
• Collaborating with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive vision and execution of game ideas.
• Crafting narratives, level designs, and puzzles that enhance the player’s experience.
• Prototyping gameplay ideas and features to test their viability.
• Gathering and implementing feedback from playtests to refine game designs.
• Staying updated with industry trends to innovate and improve game designs.
