YOUR COMMITMENT
We’re looking for volunteers available on Tuesdays and/or Fridays, between 9:00am and 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
As a Volunteer Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors to Focus Birmingham. You’ll provide essential support to our admin team and managers across the organisation, contributing to the efficient running of our services. Your tasks will vary depending on the needs of Focus, and may involve accessing confidential information about our service users.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Making and receiving telephone calls from staff and external contacts.
- Filing, photocopying, and laminating documents.
- Booking appointments for service users.
- Welcoming and greeting visitors, service users, and members of the public.
- Serving as the first point of contact at our Main Building and Low Vision Centre.
