ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a remote volunteer role for a Scrum Master at [P1] Games. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices and principles within the game development teams, ensuring efficient project progress and team dynamics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a volunteer Scrum Master, you have the flexibility to choose your own hours and set your own deadlines. Since we are a volunteer organization, you may choose the responsibilities you feel confident in at any given time:

• Facilitating daily scrum meetings to help the team stay on track with their tasks.
• Assisting the product owner in managing the product backlog for optimal project outcomes.
• Ensuring the team follows Agile principles and practices, adapting processes as necessary for project success.
• Helping to remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Supporting and educating the product owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
