Volunteer Van Driver Assistant

at  St Gemmas Hospice

Do you enjoy meeting people? This volunteer role is a great way to get out and about! Volunteer Van Driver Assistants are required on a Monday or Wednesday to support the Driver to deliver and pick up stock. You will meet at the Hospice in Moortown or Warehouse in Bramley in the morning, receive your route plan and head out to our shops or customer homes. Our charity shops are the biggest single source of income for the Hospice and collectively raised £3million in the last year so your support will make an invaluable contribution. If you volunteer for four hours or more in one day, we can offer expenses for lunch or travel, up to agreed maximum levels.

We offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and via our day services, which include a Day Hospice and Out-Patient Department.
