Volunteer wanted

Help make our wonderful shop even better. We are looking for a volunteer for our wonderful store on Vesterbrogade.
Recycling is big.
We all need to think more and more about what we spend our money on. And we can feel that when it comes to recycling around textiles, hardware and all these things, the boilers are in motion and the potential is growing.
At Vesterbrogade 106b is Kirkens Korshær Recycling - and we can also feel the demand.
We can also feel that many people have a heart that beats for recycling. At the moment we only sell clothes, but in a few months we will also start selling applied art.
Do you think it’s fun to find the good things in the donations so that it can get new life. To style the shop so that it appears checked and plays as it should. To delve into your potential niche knowledge, perhaps around jewellery, or toys, and just make these product groups the best in the area in the store. So don’t hesitate to contact us.
Does it sound like something where your skills, knowledge and passion fit in, or did you just think that it could be nice to be a volunteer.
Then you should come down and join us in our shop - it gives you so much joy.
We are a store with a very diverse group of volunteers - tall and short, young and old, and we are currently in the midst of rapid development, where we want to make our overall store and the day teams even bigger and more diverse.
For this we need to find other people who are just as passionate about recycling as we are - and this is where you come in.
If you have a little extra time and would like to make a difference, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our shifts are typically from 11-14 and from 14-17. Of course, you can also grab a whole day’s shift, there are several people who do that.
In fact, almost all of us started because we made contact through volviligjob.dk - so we know the journey : )
Yes, we run a thrift shop - but being together on this issue gives so much more than that.
Did you know e.g. that the profit goes to social work in over 80 places in the country? You are truly helping the people who need a helping hand when you share your passion for recycling with the rest of us.
