Responsibilities:
WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM
You will coordinate and implement safe and efficient marine logistics to maximize ExxonMobil’s commercial advantage worldwide. Responsible to act as intermediary between various internal departments and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise, influence trade decisions, and ensure the end-to-end process is effectively managed. The role is fast paced, dynamic and challenging involving support to worldwide operations that continuously operate in multiple time zones
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Ensure compliance with ExxonMobil corporate policies, industry standards, and government regulations
- Work closely with traders to maximize financial performance of commercial agreements.
- Oversee global portfolio of marine tonnage under various charter agreements and seek opportunities to maximize value through fleet optimization
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and provide timely and accurate updates on trades and voyages.
- Ensure all marine equipment is properly vetted through Marine Quality Assurance team and act as liaison to facilitate closure of gaps as needed.
- Monitor marine movements and maintain awareness of demurrage implications and oil loss.
- Nominate oil movements, prepare documentation instructions, appoint cargo inspectors, issue voyage orders and letters of indemnity as needed
- Enter timely and accurate information on trades and voyages into trading systems.
