Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance in the renewable energy industry. This position is based in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves leading complex financial projects, including the establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries, asset acquisition, and ensuring seamless integration of processes, procedures, and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the integration of acquired assets into the company’s financial structure
  • Lead the establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries
  • Ensure the alignment of processes, procedures, and systems for seamless business integration
  • Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Great Plains for efficient financial management
  • Handle accounts payable and annual budget processes
  • Oversee monthly close processes and the creation of consolidated financial statements
  • Conduct financial reporting and due diligence to maintain transparency and compliance
  • Manage the budget processes to ensure financial efficiency and stability
  • Lead acquisition integration to expand company’s asset base.
  • Extensive experience in managing Accounting Software Systems
  • Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage Annual Budget
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes
  • Proficiency in using NetSuite and Great Plains (GPAC)
  • Experience in Acquisition Integration
  • Proven track record in Financial Reporting
  • Expertise in performing Due Diligence
  • Knowledge of Monthly Close Processes
  • Experience in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred
  • Solid understanding of the renewable energy industry.
