VP/Director of Finance

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance at an international non-profit in the greater Washington, DC area.

• Take lead on the annual budget processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular auditing procedures to maintain financial integrity.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable.
• Utilize Business Central 365 for financial operations and record-keeping.
• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and updated.
• Handle financial aspects of federal government contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
• Prior experience in a non-profit organization at a senior level
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
• Expertise in Auditing procedures and compliance
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and financial forecasting
• Proficiency in using Business Central 365
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Federal Government Contracts and associated regulations
