JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Marmon Foodservice Technologies is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance that will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for a $200 million multi-manufacturing operation. This position will provide expert financial analytics, guidance, and strategic support for all areas of the company being supported. This role will also ensure adequacy of internal controls, IT policy, and provide advice to all levels of management. As a vital member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Finance will be responsible for properly informing the business on key financial metrics and partnering with senior leaders and business unit managers to advise on sustainable growth strategies. The EMEA leadership team is drawn from talent across the EMEA region and this role will be a key member of the team, reporting to the President of MFT EMEA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrable experience in a commensurate leadership role within a manufacturing, distribution, supply chain or related environment.
- MBA, graduate, or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field.
- Financial Acumen: Fully conversant with the P& L and budget numbers and able to succinctly articulate cause and resolution. Understands financial models and has experience with complex financial analysis across a variety of businesses. Intuitively understands which metrics are applicable to a given business or decision. Able to quickly identify patterns and anomalies in financial information. Identifies issues early and creates credible action plans to avoid anticipated issues.

Responsibilities:
- Serve on the organization’s leadership team, helping to develop and execute multi-year business plans and strategies to foster sustainable growth.
- Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to the President, Leadership Team and broader organization.
- Mentor and coach direct reports, delegating work streams effectively and holding team members to a high standard of excellence and accountability.
- Model ingenuity in leading the evaluation and development of cost-benefit analyses and efficient systems and processes to advance the organization.
- Lead the design and assessment of financial strategy and performance as it relates to managing against the annual budget and long-term goals while fostering organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
- Lead the timely and accurate development of budgets, financial reports, and models that will assist the President, Leadership Team, and other senior managers in making informed strategy, resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Lead the EMEA IT team to maintain and develop IT systems and procedures to leverage the opportunities presented by Information Technology, whilst ensuring the security and stability of the systems the business employs.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for the current ERP systems and support the roll out of the group Infor LN systems in alignment with the group roll-out plan.
- Review, manage and establish as needed, internal systems, controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the integrity, accuracy, compliance, and usefulness of financial information and reporting.
- Oversee successful completion of annual audits, filings and other mandated reporting for the organization.
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, prepaid, payroll processing, monthly reconciliation and monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
- Coordinate matters with legal counsel, including contracts, intellectual property, grant agreements, and other matters as appropriate.
- Partner with President and Leadership Team to foster organization, culture and values focused on equity, learning and sustainable growth.
- Perform and consolidate all Marmon Corporate and Foodservice Group request in a timely manner as required.
- Understanding the complexities of multiple European entities in multiple jurisdictions and work to find efficiencies in the legal and organizational structure of the business.
