We are looking for a VP, Hardware Engineering to lead our hardware division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cutting-edge hardware technologies, a proven track record in leading hardware development teams, and the ability to drive innovation in alignment with our company’s AI-focused mission.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing cutting-edge hardware solutions, particularly in the AI or high-performance computing sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex hardware projects from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies, hardware architecture, and systems integration.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of engineers.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with managing relationships with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of all hardware-related projects, including the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI hardware solutions.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, including chip designers, packaging experts, and systems architects, to achieve excellence in hardware innovation.
- Collaborate closely with software, AI, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Drive the development of custom hardware solutions that meet the performance and scalability demands of trillion-parameter AI models.
- Oversee the entire hardware lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to production and deployment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, partners, and external stakeholders to secure the necessary resources and technology for hardware development.
- Ensure that all hardware products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Manage hardware budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the hardware division.
