Description:

  • Communications and Marketing: Oversee the development and execution of communication and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and key stakeholder engagement. Including:
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement marketing strategies to achieve targeted growth in sales, market share, and profitability. This includes the development of brand strategies and retail marketing programs to support business priorities.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing strategies, including social media platforms, to optimize engagement and reach. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Public Relations and Media Management: Coordinate strategic public relations campaigns to enhance the company’s image. Maintain relationships with media partners and oversee press releases and media coverage.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute marketing events and promotional activities to reinforce the corporate identity and promote the brand name. This includes developing partnerships and business tie-ups.
  • Public Policy and Engagement: Inform public policy initiatives, engaging with key stakeholders and government entities to influence policy and regulatory developments.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The General Manager for the Middle East and GCC will lead strategy, communications, marketing, and public policy initiatives and support the Managing Director for International within the Global Service Providers business unit at World Wide Technology, The role will be part of a high-performing team and involve collaboration with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
