POSITION SUMMARY
The VP, Marketing Operations & Performance is an experienced strategy and operations leader who works directly with our Chief Marketing Officer and the leadership team to drive key strategic initiatives and programs across the global marketing organization. You will work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to help shape strategic GTM plans and oversee operational excellence for marketing at ExtraHop. You strive for efficiency and scalability in everything you do and are seen as a reliable, creative problem-solver by your stakeholders and peers. Demonstrated excellence in B2B revenue marketing is a must.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience working in a strategy or operations function, 5+ years of experience managing people and growing teams
- Ability to digest and distill complex information & and ideas, organize them into an actionable and measurable plan, and communicate them at all levels
- Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization
- Track record of setting, meeting, and exceeding pipeline goals
- Data-driven and customer-obsessed
- Superior communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, vendors, partners, managers
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior executives

$177,000 - $240,000 + benefits+ options

Responsibilities:
- Craft and sustain KPIs that each functional area of the Marketing team needs to execute effectively within the context of the larger functional goals.
- Build forecasts and projections regarding the expected ROI on marketing campaigns, traffic, user acquisition, and other marketing areas that require robust and rigid financial analysis.
- Work with the BI team to extrapolate insights and turn those insights into an actionable strategy that the marketing team can leverage to create & optimize marketing initiatives.
- Create a thoughtful, clear, metrics-driven approach to tracking, monitoring, and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of all programs and initiatives.
- Set the operating, planning, OKRs, and reporting rhythm for the CMO and the rest of the Marketing Leadership team.
- Keep leaders accountable for setting consistent, high-impact goals and sharing back ‘wins and learns’ with the broader organization.
- Support the GTM planning processes to develop tightly aligned GTM plays across product, sales, and marketing.
- Identify areas where technology and automation can drive increased efficiency and repeatable processes, accelerating the launch of marketing campaigns.
- Drive internal communications and adopt new programs and processes that impact global marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Help facilitate effective training on Marketing-related topics to ensure all relevant stakeholders are properly educated on infusing the best marketing tactics into their content, initiatives, and products to maximize impact.
- Act as a high-level project manager for all of the marketing-related initiatives
- Inspire, grow, and nurture a global team of engaged marketing professionals who deliver on our goals.
- In partnership with the CMO, manage responsible investment and resource allocation (headcount and budget) across the marketing leadership.
- Work with key business leadership across the globe to understand future marketing plans and develop a strategy to deliver on these plans. Tailor strategies to local markets as necessary.
- Ensure the team maximizes all campaigns’ impact by maintaining organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards that track success/failure and learnings.
- Develop, implement, and oversee budget tracking across the marketing functions.
- Sees around corners, and helps spot and remove barriers to current and future success through people, processes, data, insights, and technology.
