Uscreen is a profitably growing, bootstrapped, product-led SaaS business changing the way video-based entrepreneurs and creators monetize their content. Our all-in-one video membership platform empowers creators to generate revenue through subscriptions, communities, courses, and live-streamed events across various platforms (web, mobile, and TV).
Over 25,000 video creators use Uscreen to sell, market, manage, and expand their businesses, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in the process.
As the VP of Marketing, you will be tasked with leading our revenue-focused Marketing department across Demand Gen, Content Marketing, Brand, Creative & Partnerships. Marketing is a high impact function that drives the vast majority of revenue at Uscreen, so this is a perfect role for a leader who loves marketing and doesn’t want to be bogged down by organizational bureaucracy.
Responsibilities:
- Increase our trajectory of new business (closed by our sales team) through demand generation. Our demand generation function is already pretty mature and relies on capturing demand through search, YouTube and virality, but we are seeking to continue optimizing these.
- Our brand is not very well known and our customers mostly white label our product. In a cost-efficient way, we want to level up how Uscreen is perceived in the market by our target customers, with a focus on messaging, design and relationships with customers.
- Building a business on Uscreen isn’t always easy for our customers – we need to provide them confidence by helping show them how it’s done, both before and after purchase.
- We are a bootstrapped and profitable business and proud of it. Balancing growth with responsible spending is a careful balance that we prioritize, both when it comes to advertising budget and tech stack.
- We have a small senior leadership team that is aligned, scrappy and loves to get in the weeds. We are counting on a leader who can positively contribute to this group.
