VP OF MEDIA

Envision Horizons is seeking an experienced VP of Media to lead our dynamic Amazon Advertising team! This leader should have a proven track record in building and scaling a highly accountable and strategic media department within an agency environment. Experience in developing SOPs and best practices for a team is essential. A deep understanding of Amazon Advertising, retail media, and broader media trends is required. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can hold a team accountable while fostering an environment of trust and autonomy.
Location: US-based. Fully remote.
Salary: $150-200k USD Annual Salary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 6-8 years of media experience
  • 3+ years of Amazon Advertising experience
  • 2+ year of DSP media experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel & SQL
  • Certified in all Amazon Ads
  • Certified in Amazon AMC
  • Opinionated but collaborative
  • Experience leading presentations for senior-level team members and clients
  • Strong understanding of LTV and Amazon P&L

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the overall media strategy for the organization, ensuring it aligns with the company’s broader business objectives.
  • Oversee the media department at a high level, ensuring that all media activities support the company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage the media budget at a macro level, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and corporate priorities.
  • Identify new opportunities for media growth, including exploring new channels, technologies, and partnerships.
  • Create a system of accountability that also encourages independence and autonomy
  • Create incentive structures that motivate and reward strong performance
  • Maintain a deep understanding of best practices within Amazon Advertising, Retail Media, and broad media trends
  • Upsell advanced media services to enterprise clients
  • Oversee testing initiatives
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to generate case studies
  • Manage our relationship with the Amazon Ads Partner program
